A well-established and expanding law firm with offices in both Brighton and London is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor (minimum 4 years PQE) to join its forward-thinking team. The Role
This is a varied and client-facing role involving high levels of responsibility and autonomy from the outset. You will advise a broad portfolio of clients including developers, investors, lenders, landlords, tenants, and managing agents across a diverse range of commercial property matters.
The role suits a technically strong solicitor with the ambition to build a long-term future within a firm that actively supports career growth and encourages business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of commercial property matters including:
- Freehold and leasehold acquisitions/disposals
- Landlord and tenant work
- Commercial leases and licences
- Development work and property finance
- Provide high-quality, commercially astute legal advice.
- Maintain and build strong client relationships.
- Support junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Proactively contribute to business development and have the confidence to generate new instructions, ideally with an existing or developing client following.
About You
- UK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' PQE in commercial property.
- Strong technical knowledge and excellent drafting skills.
- Confident communicator with excellent client care and relationship-building abilities.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage work independently and collaboratively.
- A strong commercial acumen with an enthusiasm for networking and developing business.
- A following or ability to generate work is highly desirable.
