As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days), you'll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a busy production site. This role requires a strong electrical background with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary engineering tasks, supporting production uptime and continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of plant and machinery.

*

Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to reduce downtime.

*

Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

*

Support machine installations, upgrades, and improvement projects.

*

Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards and company procedures.

*

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and contribute to continuous improvement.

Skills/Experience for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role:

*

Time-served engineer with relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent).

*

Electrical bias with solid knowledge of mechanical systems.

*

Strong experience in industrial / manufacturing / FMCG environments.

*

Knowledge of PLC fault finding and automated systems would be advantageous.

*

Team player with excellent problem-solving skills.

*

Safety conscious with a proactive, hands-on approach.
