Vermont Country Store - Manager, Inventory Planning
The Vermont Country Store is seeking a Manager, Inventory Planning. This person will be responsible for forecasting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting product demand for multiple business channels to meet the company's strategic goals and objectives. This is a supervisory role within the Inventory Management team.
Able to use software to accurately process, predict, and analyze specific factors relating to product demand, promotions, creative presentations and seasonality?
Capable of analyzing data with standard statistical methods, researching and interpreting results, providing a written summary of data analyses and recommendations for modifying the current inventory and forecasting methodologies and approach?
Interested in developing strong partnerships with vendors to meet all business needs?
An ability to think strategically and implement company strategy, goals and objectives?
A passion for defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions?
A willingness to manage projects, and process improvement opportunities including identifying appropriate participants, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and expected outcomes for each?

Experience, Skills, Abilities & Attributes:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
7+ years in inventory planning or management role
Supervisory experience preferred
Advanced computer skills a must
