Class 2 Driver Temp-to-Perm - Kidderminster
£14.80/hour

Monday to Friday | 8 AM Start | Multidrop Pallet Work

Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a reliable Monday-Friday role with regular hours and no weekend work? We're recruiting on behalf of our client based in Kidderminster for a Class 2 Driver to join their team delivering palletised goods.

The Role:

* Start time: 8 AM daily

* Up to 14 drops per day

* Multidrop pallet deliveries across local and regional routes

* Use of tail lift (experience preferred, not essential)

* Typically flatbed vehicle work

Pay:

* £14.80/hour PAYE

Increasing by 50p per hour in April

Duties Include:

* Conducting pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness

* Safely loading and unloading goods

* Ensuring deliveries are secure and completed efficiently

* Navigating routes while following all traffic laws

* Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork

* Providing excellent customer service at each drop

* Reporting vehicle defects or incidents to management promptly

Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class C licence (Class 2)

* Previous commercial driving experience (flatbed experience desirable)

* Strong understanding of road safety regulations

* Physically fit - able to lift and move heavy items

* Great time management and ability to work independently

* Positive attitude and good communication skills
