What the roles involve

We have multiple positions open, each with a focus on providing excellent service to commercial insurance clients.

  • Account Handler: In this role, you will be a key contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. Your duties will include managing renewals, handling mid-term adjustments, and addressing general client inquiries. You'll work closely with underwriters and claims brokers to ensure client needs are met efficiently and build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Corporate Account Handler: This senior-level role involves managing a more complex portfolio of the company's largest corporate clients. You will be responsible for the full insurance life cycle of these accounts, from conducting market exercises to secure competitive terms to negotiating with insurers and presenting renewal options. You'll also have the opportunity to identify cross-selling opportunities and mentor junior members of the team.

What you'll bring

We're looking for individuals at various stages of their commercial insurance careers who are self-motivated, growth-minded, and excellent communicators. Commercial insurance product experience is required -although we are flexible to consider candidates who have worked in commercial, claims, renewals, new business, broking or underwriting roles and are keen to transition into a broking account handler-focused role.

Acturis systems experience is highly desirable, and qualifications—working towards the CII.
