Dedicated Religious Education Teacher Wanted in Hounslow! Respectful Secondary School Location: Hounslow Role: Religious Education Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3-4, and potentially A-Level, fostering a respectful understanding of diverse beliefs and perspectives.

* Inspire students to develop empathy, tolerance, and a respectful attitude towards different religious and non-religious worldviews.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the RE curriculum within a respectful and inclusive school environment.

* Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Religious Education.

* Foster a classroom environment that encourages respectful dialogue, open-mindedness, and critical thinking about religious and ethical issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, or a related field.

* Proven experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).

* Strong subject knowledge across a range of religious and ethical traditions.

* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate sensitive and respectful discussions.
