Role overview
- Prepare accurate client meeting packs, illustrations, and initial drafts of advice documentation in line with firm standards.
- Undertake data gathering, fact finding, and verification to ensure robust inputs for planning work.
- Assist with cash-flow modelling and scenario planning to support advisers’ recommendations.
- Contribute to the creation of compliant, well-structured recommendations and documentation in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain client records and support smooth administration to enable efficient adviser workflows.
- Liaise with product providers and back-office teams to obtain necessary information and streamline processes.
- Participate in continuous process improvement, including updates to templates and checklists.
Ideal candidate profile
- Demonstrable paraplanning experience
- Level 4 Diploma
- Strong numerical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and comfort with modelling tools.
- Solid understanding of the financial planning process and regulatory expectations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Collaborative and well-organised, capable of prioritising multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop professional qualifications with employer support.
