Role overview

  • Prepare accurate client meeting packs, illustrations, and initial drafts of advice documentation in line with firm standards.
  • Undertake data gathering, fact finding, and verification to ensure robust inputs for planning work.
  • Assist with cash-flow modelling and scenario planning to support advisers’ recommendations.
  • Contribute to the creation of compliant, well-structured recommendations and documentation in line with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain client records and support smooth administration to enable efficient adviser workflows.
  • Liaise with product providers and back-office teams to obtain necessary information and streamline processes.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement, including updates to templates and checklists.

Ideal candidate profile

  • Demonstrable paraplanning experience
  • Level 4 Diploma
  • Strong numerical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and comfort with modelling tools.
  • Solid understanding of the financial planning process and regulatory expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Collaborative and well-organised, capable of prioritising multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop professional qualifications with employer support.
