Part-Time Management & Tax Accountant (4 days per week) An exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to join a fast-paced, digital-first/ecommerce business on a part-time basis (4 days/week). This is a heavily tax-focused role, with core responsibilities across VAT, international tax compliance, year-end audit, and management accounts. You'll report into the Director of Finance and working in a small team, your responsibilities include:

* Tax, VAT & International Compliance (Heavy Focus)

* Lead multi-jurisdictional VAT and sales tax compliance and submissions

* Manage VAT/sales tax registrations in new international markets

* Monitor changes in international tax regulations and adapt processes accordingly

* Management Accounting & Reporting

* Full ownership of monthly management accounts for two legal entities

* Prepare accurate, timely financial reports and variance analysis

* Develop financial reporting packs for senior stakeholders

* Support budgeting and forecasting cycles

* Audit & Year-End

* Act as the main contact for external auditors during annual audits

* Prepare audit files, schedules and statutory reporting

Essential Criteria

* Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) - essential

* International tax and VAT compliance - essential

* Audit preparation and statutory year-end accounting - essential

* Management accounts and reporting - essetial

* 3-5+ years post-qualification experience in a finance role

* Experience in eCommerce or D2C environments preferred (but not essential)
