About the Service:
Precedo Healthcare a seeking experienced Support Workers to work on a flexible agency basis working within a supported living services for adults with a range of complex needs. The service includes a variety of purpose-built and adapted properties, featuring private apartments, shared accommodation, and step-down transitional flats — all designed to support people toward greater independence and community integration.

Who you will Support
The service provides enhanced 24-hour supported living for adults with:
- Learning disabilities
- Autism and associated conditions
- Mental health conditions (including secondary diagnoses)
- Behaviours that challenge
- Physical disabilities or those requiring accessible living spaces
Support is built around individual tenancy agreements, and each person receives a bespoke care package tailored to their assessed needs, personal goals, and aspirations.
About the Role
As an Experienced Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, structured, and empowering support. You will work 1:1 with service users (or in small groups), helping them develop skills for everyday living and preparing for a more independent future in the community.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting people to access the community, including leisure activities and college placements
- Encouraging personal independence with hygiene, cleaning, and home management
- Assisting with meal planning, preparation, and nutritional awareness
- Helping to manage budgets, shopping, bills, and appointments
- Providing emotional support and promoting mental well-being
- Working alongside an established team, clinical teams, and local authorities to deliver joined-up care
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in supported living or a similar role is essential
- A person-centred approach with a strong focus on dignity, respect, and positive risk-taking
- Ability to support individuals with complex behaviours in a consistent and compassionate way
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including waking nights
- Driving licence is advantageous but not essential
