A large multi-entity organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This role involves delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening controls, and supporting year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce monthly accounts to trial balance, including all reconciliations.
• Support year-end audit and prepare statutory accounts.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation postings.
• Lead VAT returns, CIS submissions and P11Ds.
• Ensure strong financial controls across multiple entities.
• Support supplier set-ups, due diligence checks and treasury processes.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar financial accounting role.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills; advanced Excel essential.
• Experience supervising or developing a small team.
• Housing or care sector experience desirable.
