Production Planner
Cambridge

Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

£35,000-£40,000

Do you want to work for a food manufacturer, part of a larger European group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to growth within the site they are looking for a Production Planner to help towards medium term production plans.

Role & responsibilities of a production planner:

Develop and maintain medium term production plans for the production & packaging of products
Production & stock admin - using an ERP system
Create bills of materials and upkeep on internal system
Packaging and pallet planning & ordering
Collate KPi data and report against company objectives
Work closely with the logistics planner to organise deliveries via 3rd party logistics companies
Communicate production schedules and changes to the supply chain & customers

Knowledge, skills & experience needed to be a production planner:

Must be highly organised, effective communicator, analytical
Experienced in production planning, scheduling, purchasing
Worked in food or FMCG manufacturing previously
Must have used an ERP System previously
Expert MS Office skills - Excel, Outlook, Word
Good with numbers, data and analysing KPi's
