Housing Officer

• Hourly rate: £22.48 PAYE / £29.85 Umbrella
• Location: Clapham Park, London SW2 4AX
• Job Type: Hybrid (3 days in office)
• Contract Duration: 3 months

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support a General Needs Housing Operations team, covering the Lambeth and Southwark Boroughs. This is a temporary, three-month role based in our Clapham Park office. The position is crucial for assisting the team in managing a high volume of work and addressing general queries.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide comprehensive support to the Housing Operations team.
• Assist in managing and clearing down the current volume of work efficiently.
• Handle general queries from residents and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations across the Lambeth and Southwark Boroughs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to housing operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Background as a Housing Officer within social housing / local authority
• Proven experience in administrative or support roles, preferably within housing or similar sectors.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with housing operations and regulations is advantageous but not essential.
