Tradewind Recruitment is working with a supportive school in Enfield to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs on a full-time basis.

This is a rewarding role for someone experienced in supporting students with behavioural and emotional needs, helping them engage positively with learning and school life.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small-group SEMH support

Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management

Implement behaviour and SEMH support plans

Use de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviour

Act as a positive role model throughout the school day

Work closely with teachers and pastoral teams

Requirements:

Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour

Calm, patient, and resilient approach

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to work full time and start ASAP
