Spanish Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Contract: Minimum 12-month Maternity Cover

Location: Dunblane, Scotland

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join a respected school in Dunblane. We are seeking a passionate educator who can inspire learners, deliver high-quality language teaching, and contribute positively to the school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons across relevant year groups
• Plan, prepare, and assess in line with Curriculum for Excellence standards
• Support pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing, and wider development
• Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Essential Requirements

• GTCS registration (General Teaching Council for Scotland)
• Relevant experience teaching Spanish within a school setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a structured and disciplined environment
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people

Desirable

• Experience working in a boarding, or highly structured educational environment
• Willingness to contribute to wider school activities and enrichment programmes
