Job Title: Network Engineer - SC Cleared

Rate: £500 - £600 per day (outside IR35)

Location: Remote with occasional travel (Southern England)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months initially (likely extension)

Clearance: Active SC clearance required

Tektora is proud to be partnering with Networkology, a leading consultancy delivering critical infrastructure projects across defence and enterprise environments. We're hiring three SC-cleared Network Engineers for a high-impact, nationwide DC (non-ACI) and SD-WAN design and deployment initiative.

The Opportunity

You'll play a pivotal role in the delivery of a large-scale data centre transformation project, supporting all stages from HLD/LLD through to implementation and testing. While the focus is primarily on data centre skill sets, candidates with SD-WAN experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and update High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD)

* Execute implementation phases, configuration and testing

* Document deployment and testing outcomes clearly

* Work with technologies including Cisco Nexus 9300, Cat8300, VLANs, VPC, BGP, OSPF, NX-OS, and CAT-OS

* Use tooling such as Visio, Excel, etc. to produce professional technical documentation

* Maintain a flexible, delivery-focused attitude

What You'll Need:

* Active SC Clearance (essential)

* Proven experience in large-scale network deployments

* Strong hands-on configuration and troubleshooting skills

* Excellent documentation capabilities

* Availability to travel during implementation phases (largely in the South)
