Our client, a Tier 1 contractor within the Water indsutry is currenly on the lookout for some Electrical Design Engineers to join their ever growing team. 

They are open to candidates on both a Permanant and Contract basis. 

Duties -

· Management of project-specific design outputs
· Execution of design as per M&E Design QA Procedures
· Accountable for intricate design conforming to the Trant Procedures
· Decipher & grasp client requisites from client documents (blueprints, specifications, correspondence, etc.)
· Correspond with the client, external design assets, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to specifications
· On-site appraisals of existing assets
· Exploration of options and viability studies
· Aid in tender pricing
· Formulation of procurement specifications for electric gear and creation of detailed design construction blueprints
· Oversight of third-party designs and provision of design assistance to installation and commissioning teams
· Evaluation of vendors' control system Functional Design Specifications for compliance
· Scrutiny of vendor data and diagrams for all electric gear and packaged facilities, motor control centres, power distribution panels, and field gear panels
· Management of internal and external project-specific design expenses in coordination with the Project Manager
· Execution and validation of design computations including modeling of the entire power system (AMTECH)
· Preparation of blueprints for CAD production
· Contribution to the development of process control philosophies with the Process Engineer and suppliers
· Generation of electric scope and works bid submission documents
· Estimation of material and labor expenditures
· Undertaking design hazard assessments to bolster detailed design proposals
· Crafting detailed electric specifications
· Production of single-line and block cable diagrams, load schedules, equipment specifications, cable schedules, equipment schedules, telemetry schedules, instrument schedules, and I/O listings
· Documenting and recording all design modifications until completion and issuance of 'As Built' documents
· Interaction with clients and subcontractors

Qualifications/background:
· Relevant electric qualification or equivalent experience
· Holding Chartered Engineer status would be beneficial
