Location: Torpoint, Cornwall (covering Cornwall & Plymouth/Devon)

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (DOE)

Hours: Full Time 35 hours p/w, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (although flexibility/hybrid working considered)

Sound Insurance Services Ltd is expanding — and we’re looking for an ambitious, driven Insurance Development Manager to help us grow our presence across Cornwall and Devon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, developing new business into long-term clients, and wants to be part of a growing company with genuine future career prospects.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Actively generating new business opportunities
  • Building, managing and developing strong relationships with clients
  • Networking within the local business community
  • Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and long-term account growth
  • Representing Sound Insurance Services Ltd professionally in the local market

This is a client-facing, relationship-driven role suited to someone confident, proactive and commercially minded.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in insurance or the financial sector (preferred but not essential) OR has a strong background in sales and is eager to learn a new industry
  • Is confident networking, meeting new people, has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Is self-motivated and target-driven
  • Good IT skills, you should be comfortable using Microsoft applications.
  • Wants to build a long-term career with growth potential

Full support and product training will be provided for the right candidate.
