Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and well-respected primary school in Tameside that is seeking a Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a full-time, long-term basis.

Role Responsibilities:

Support the Year 4 class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities

Provide tailored support to pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis

Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Assist with behaviour management and the general running of the classroom

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting

A proactive, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with children

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for education and child development
