Tradewind Recruitment are working with a Primary School in Warrington who are seeking a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis until July 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is confident delivering structured learning to groups of pupils in KS2; and supporting teaching staff across the school.

• Delivering large group interventions (around 10 pupils) in core subjects

• All planning will be provided by the class teacher

• Responsible for bringing the sessions to life, adapting delivery where appropriate and ensuring high engagement

• Feeding back progress, concerns and next steps to the class teacher

• In emergencies, providing PPA/management time cover for full classes

• A qualified and confident HLTA with experience working across KS2

• Someone who can manage larger groups efficiently and deliver content clearly

• Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills

• A proactive, reliable individual able to slot into a welcoming and hardworking team

• A candidate genuinely passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential

• HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Satisfactory references covering the last two years

• Full employment history for safeguarding checks

• Right to work in the UK
