We are seeking a dedicated and experienced BIM Coordination Manager to join the team of an M&E contractor. As a BIM Coordination Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless integration of BIM processes within thier projects. This position involves managing internal and external teams, overseeing project documentation, and adhering to industry standards and protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BIM coordination, clash reporting, and project management.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct project kick-off meetings to establish BIM guidelines and expectations.
* Generate clash reports and resolve coordination issues within BIM models.
* Ensure compliance with Project Model Execution (PME) standards and protocols.
* Conduct regular model reviews and coordinate with internal teams and external bureaus.
* Arrange point cloud scanning activities for accurate data capture.
* Maintain and organize the filing system for project documentation.
* Ensure adherence to document control protocols and standards.
* Prepare project spend reports and monitor budget allocations.
* Attend coordination meetings and liaise with project managers for effective communication.
* Perform drawing and model checks and provide necessary sign-offs.
* Validate variations in BIM models and drawings.
* Responsible for BIM and drawing delivery to meet project deadlines.
* Act as a liaison between project managers, internal teams, and external partners.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
* Strong understanding of PME standards and industry protocols.
* Familiarity with point cloud scanning technologies and processes.
* BIM Management experience
* Knowledge of document control protocols and standards.
* Ability to validate variations and ensure accurate BIM/drawing delivery.
* Structured career path leading to operational BIM Manager role.
