Additionally, there is potential for the right candidate to take on a Key Stage 2 Lead role, contributing to the strategic development of teaching and learning across KS2.

About the Role:
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Year 6 curriculum, preparing students for their SATs, and helping them achieve their full potential. You will foster a positive and motivating classroom environment, guiding students through this crucial stage of their educational journey. The role also offers the potential for additional responsibilities as a Key Stage 2 Lead, allowing you to take a leadership role in shaping the KS2 curriculum and supporting your colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 6 curriculum, ensuring students are well-prepared for their SATs.

*

Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

*

Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive.

*

Collaborate with other KS2 teachers and staff to ensure consistency and continuity across the curriculum.

*

Lead by example, setting high standards for teaching, learning, and behaviour.

*

Develop and implement strategies to raise standards and improve outcomes for Year 6 students.

*

If taking on the KS2 Lead role, contribute to the development of the curriculum, lead professional development opportunities, and support colleagues across Key Stage 2.

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

*

Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably with Year 6.

*

Knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and experience with SATs preparation.

*

A passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

*

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

*

Experience in a leadership role (desired, but not essential for KS2 Lead potential).

*

A creative and positive approach to teaching and learning.

Why Join Us?

*

A supportive and collaborative school environment with a focus on professional development.

*

Potential to take on a leadership role in KS2 and make a lasting impact on teaching and learning.

*

Competitive salary based on MPS/UPS, with additional responsibilities for the KS2 Lead role.

*

A well-resourced school with excellent facilities for both staff and students.

*

A strong focus on staff well-being and work-life balance.

If you are an enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a difference and grow within a supportive school, we'd love to hear from you.
