Technical Services Manager - Manchester

Salary: £60,000 + benefits

About the Role:
We're recruiting a Technical Services Manager to oversee a mixed commercial & residential portfolio on behalf of a well-known managing agent/landlord.
You'll be the key point of contact for all M&E / hard-services delivery, ensuring statutory compliance, safety, and high-quality service across a busy multi-site estate.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all mechanical, electrical and building-services operations (hard-services FM).

*

Manage PPM schedules, CapEx projects, and reactive works to ensure safety and compliance.

*

Oversee and audit contractor performance and ensure best-value procurement.

*

Work closely with landlords, tenants, and managing-agent teams to ensure a seamless service.

*

Prepare and manage budgets, service-charge reporting, and life-cycle planning.

*

Drive sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives across the portfolio.

What They're Looking For:

*

Proven experience as a Technical Services / Engineering / M&E Manager within commercial property or mixed-use estates.

*

Strong compliance knowledge (H&S, statutory, building regs).

*

Excellent client-facing and contractor-management skills.

*

M&E qualification (electrical or mechanical) or equivalent hands-on background preferred.

*

Ability to lead on budgeting and service-charge management.
