Bid Coordinator – Construction / Engineering This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of ambitions personnel who are acting as an employment agency. We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Bid Co-ordinator working as part of a dedicated national bid team to support bidding and business development activity across my Clients network of UK offices. My Client is very well known within the Construction sector and have won countless awards for their work! They work and play hard with monthly team outings - and drinks once a month on a friday! Job Role: Identifying and co-ordinating all necessary inputs to produce a winning bid Working closely with a broad spectrum of bid contributors including technical authors Coordinating the project management of the bid process to produce a compelling document that clearly and concisely presents capability and key strengths, satisfying precisely the client’s requirements Creating high quality client proposals including bid submissions, pre-qualification questionnaires, presentations, along with applications for approved supplier lists and supporting pre-bid activity Editing and re-writing bid content, bespoke to client requirements Coordinating document design and layout, liaising with graphic designers as necessary Seeking internal and external feedback to support continuous improvement Managing the ‘Bid Hub’ information library, ensuring it is continually updated and improved Experience: Ideally experience of the bid process within either a Consultancy or Construction environment Excellent written English Demonstrable team-work experience An understanding of professional services and/or the construction industry is desirable A working knowledge of Adobe InDesign would be an advantage but not essential As the role requires significant UK travel, a full UK driving license is required Personal Profile: Positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated An effective and confident communicator Good analytical and research skills Ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines Strong sense of responsibility for the success of a team A creative eye for good presentation Benefits Salary: £20,000 to £28,000 21 days annual leave + BH On going funded training Working for a global business Full time hours / Monday to Friday / Permanent To apply, please contact Michelle Dalby on (Apply online only) or email a CV to ; Unfortunately due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unable to provide individual feedback.
