Fire & Security Service & Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding team, working across Essex to support a wide range of clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in Fire and Intruder Alarm systems who is looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role

As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will:

*

Service, maintain, and fault-find on a variety of fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control.

*

Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and small remedial works.

*

Work across both commercial and domestic sites, with exposure to large-scale integrated systems and smaller standalone systems.

*

Deliver excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients at all levels.

*

Work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulations.

About You

We are looking for a professional and reliable engineer with:

*

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

*

Strong knowledge of fire and intruder alarm systems (experience with CCTV and access control is an advantage)

*

Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills

*

A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work autonomously

*

Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding service

Requirements

*

Full UK driving licence (clean)

*

Willingness to be part of the on-call rota (overtime opportunities available)

*

Ability to pass a DBS check prior to employment
