Repair Technician Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to support the testing, diagnosis, and repair of handheld electro‑mechanical devices. This is a hands-on workshop-based position where you will troubleshoot faults, identify root causes, and complete high‑quality repairs to ensure equipment is returned to customers in excellent working order.

Working within an engineering-led environment, the Repair Technician will collaborate closely with technical specialists and production teams while maintaining strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering reliable, safe, and accurate repairs.

Repair Technician Key Responsibilities

Diagnose faults on handheld electro‑mechanical instruments and testing equipment.
Perform component-level repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
Conduct functional testing to verify successful repair and calibration.
Work from repair instructions, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
Maintain accurate repair records and follow workshop processes.
Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and performance standards.
Collaborate with engineers to support continuous improvement and recurring fault analysis.Qualifications & Experience

Relevant proven experience in a similar repair or maintenance role.
Strong understanding of electro‑mechanical systems.
Fault-finding experience across electrical and mechanical components.
Previous exposure to workshop or service/repair environments desirable.Personal Attributes
