About the Role

Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area for a skilled CNC Turner. The successful candidate will have experience in programming, setting, and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes and will be confident working on both existing production jobs and new job setups.

Key Responsibilities

* Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines.

* Set up lathes for both established work and new production runs.

* Use Fanuc controls confidently and efficiently.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

* Maintain high accuracy and quality throughout the machining process.

* Support continuous improvement and production efficiency.

Desirable Skills & Experience

* Proven experience as a CNC Turner.

* Strong understanding of Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes.

* Ability to program, set, and operate independently.

* Strong attention to detail and quality.

* Good problem-solving skills and initiative.

* Ability to work independently and within a team.
