Currently we have a well-respected independent Insolvency Practitioner client based in Manchester who is looking for someone who requires work-life balance from a supportive employer.
Our client is looking for someone to work between 16 to 25 hours a week, the salary will reflect your experience.
Working hours can be completely flexible and well-suited to fitting around childcare or other caring responsibilities.
The Role
The IP will work closely with the owner and Insolvency Practitioner, take formal appointments and oversee a varied corporate insolvency portfolio from appointment to case closure.
Key Criteria
- An experienced Insolvency Practitioner, JIEB Qualified
- Experienced in working within Corporate Insolvency
- Commercial awareness and professional credibility
Responsibilities:
- Taking corporate insolvency appointments which will include CVLs, MVLs and Administrations
- Manage and oversee own corporate cases from appointment through to closure
- Initially work alongside the Managing partner/IP offering any technical and strategic input cases with a view to become key lead on cases after a few months
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff where appropriate
- Ensuring all cases are compliant with regulatory and statutory requirements
Requirements:
- Licensed JIEB qualified Insolvency Practitioner ideally with 5 years insolvency experience
- Proven Corporate Insolvency experience
- Strong technical knowledge and compliance awareness
- Ability to work independently as well as being a strong team player
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and professional credibility
