Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist hospital in their search for a Clinical Lead/Advanced Scrub Practitioner to join their experienced team. The hospital, which is a centre of excellence within it's field, is widely renowned within the industry for it's excellent standards of care and commitment to being at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

The hospital is looking for an experienced Theatre Practitioner/Nurse who is highly motivated and ready to leave a multi-disciplinary team in liaison with the consultants. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with the Theatre Manager to ensure an excellent standard of care is provided at the hospital as well as deputising for them upon their absence. They will be able to deliver appropriate perioperative care within the plastics speciality whilst also maintaining, developing and implementing effective policy and procedure. They will be providing a consistant level of professionalism and acting as a mentor to more junior members of staff whilst keeping them to a consistant progression plan.

Essential Requirements
- Registered Practitioner with NMC/HCPC registration
- Evidence of progression within their role
- 5 years' experience within Theatres
- 2 years' experience within a management position would be preferred.
- 2 years' experience Plastics/Reconstruction scrub experience would be preferred.
- Teaching & Mentorship in clinical practice or equivalent.
- Ability to manage own case load whilst also working within the parameters of the organisation to effectively develop and implement change across the ophthalmic service.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for high quality patient safety and care
