Estimator

We have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join a main contractor based in Portsmouth. The business has built a reputation in Hampshire and the South East for delivering for clients across a range of sectors including facilities management, refurbishments and construction services, valuing typically to £5mil. They work with both private and public sector clients.

About the role of Estimator:

As Estimator, you will be working within the work-winning team, producing competitive tenders which maximise profitability whilst ensuring the clients requirements are met. You will work collaboratively to ensure site teams are given a full handover is returned to the delivery teams.

Key responsibilities as Estimator:

Review tender documents and ascertain suitability for the project
Work from first principles
Manage the whole tender process
Work collaboratively with the bid team to ensure tenders are presentable

Key requirements for this Estimator position:

Proven track record of successfully securing tenders valuing up to £5mil.
Experience competitively tendering for projects as the main contractor
Live within a commutable distance to Portsmouth and be happy to commute to office / site on a regular basis
Full right to work in the UK
