The Role

As an Aspiring Clinical Psychologist, you will:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN and ASD
Assist in implementing EHCP targets and therapeutic strategies
Support emotional regulation, social communication and positive behaviour
Work closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff
Help create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
Observe and report on student progress and wellbeingThis role offers invaluable exposure to multi-disciplinary working and complex SEN needs — ideal preparation for postgraduate psychology training.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a degree in Psychology or a related field (or is currently studying)
Has a genuine interest in Clinical or Educational Psychology
Demonstrates patience, empathy and emotional resilience
Has experience (paid or voluntary) working with young people or SEN (desirable)
Communicates effectively and works well within a team
