My client is an international total facilities management company, who offer multi disciplinary services in hard, soft, commercial and energy.

They are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Business Development, to drive new & existing business, with a focus on Soft and Hard FM services for the UK Group.

You will be working closely with the Commercial & Managing Director and will be responsible for the Business Development Department, with a primary focus in securing new business, and retaining existing business through competitive tendering processes.

In addition, the Business Development Manager will network within the private and public sector to develop & drive my client's Total FM Service Solutions throughout the UK.

About you:

* You will have excellent communication skills, excel in organisational skills even in high pressured and fast paced environments.

* You will have a broad knowledge of FM business functions, and ideally some project management experience.

* You will understand the technical aspects of the facilities management and support day to day business operations during mobilisation.

* During the mobilisation process you will be responsible for coordinating the operations, mitigating risk, and ensure that the companies services meet the demands of new clients whilst adhering to budgets.

* You will be able to produce detailed, well written technical proposals that meet and exceed customer expectations.

* You will be able to provide detailed costing documents to the Commercial & Managing Director for review in line with the published or anticipated contract value taking into consideration all operational and overhead costs.

* You will lead and manage the Business Development Department to deliver successful PQQs and Tenders in line with the business' priorities.

This is a hybrid position, with regular office days in the London and High Wycombe offices. A full UK driving license will be required for this position.

Salary: £75k per annum

Car Allowance: £8,400 per annum (£700pcm)

A generous bonus/commission structure for secured business/contracts awarded
