A large and dynamic business based in Mid Kent has a vacancy for an ambitious Management Accountant looking for an opportunity to progress and develop their career in industry. The purpose of the role is to support the senior management accounting team, actively contributing to the month end process, taking responsibility for posting month end journals, monthly analysis of costs, forecasting, balance sheet work and reconciliations.

Key Duties:

• Prepare monthly management accounts with insightful commentary
• Produce P&L and KPI reports for multiple departments
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and SOX compliance processes
• Assist with audit and statutory reporting activities
• Drive process improvements and collaborate cross-functionally
• Work closely with stakeholders to provide commercial finance support

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or a finalist.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
• Proactive and inquisitive mindset with strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
