We’re looking for a
hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a friendly maintenance team within a manufacturing environment. This role involves maintaining a
wide range of machinery, while also supporting the
build of bespoke welding machines and site improvement projects.

- Maintaining a range of machinery including lathes, mills, grinders, furnaces and wire-making lines
- Supporting the mechanical assembly of bespoke welding machines
- Helping manage the site maintenance schedule to reduce downtime
- Identifying improvements to machinery and processes
- Working closely with the maintenance and production teams
Maintenance Technician Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications- Strong mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing or engineering
- Experience maintaining manual or CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders)
- Experience with production machinery or furnaces would be beneficial
- A hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get involved
- Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
