Page Personnel are working with a leading, nationwide professional service firm based in Leeds City Centre who are actively seeking a HR Advisor to join their HR function. Working as part of their well-established London-based HR team on a remote basis in Leeds, this is a fantastic position which you assist the HR Director by providing professional and pragmatic advice on generalist HR cases and issues.

Working as part of their well-established London-based HR team on a remote basis in Leeds, this is a fantastic position which you assist the HR Director by providing professional and pragmatic advice on generalist HR cases and issues.

Description

In a fast-paced and generalist HR Advisor position, roles and responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

  • Providing advice and guidance on generalist HR issues to members of the firm in a professional, responsive and culturally appropriate manner
  • Supporting others in the team with broader resourcing requirements which will include qualified fee earners, senior business services and or partner/director level roles
  • Coach, advise and support managers to effectively and proactively manage ER matters aligned to the firm's values
  • Advising line managers and supervisors with regard to sickness or other absence management, and in particular, PAs, paralegals and business services staff
  • Advertising and promoting trainee solicitor vacancies - organising and facilitating open days and assessment centres, shortlisting applications and contributing to the offer and induction process

Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years' generalist HR experience within a professional services environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to enthuse, engage and influence at an appropriate level
  • Experience of conducting recruitment interviews
  • Strong academics are required along with CIPD, part CIPD or equivalent qualification
  • Proactive and innovative in their approach
