Permanent position - Immediate Start

Rate Guide: £17.00 - £18.00 p/hr, depending in experience

Overtime Rate: To £27.00 p/hr - Time and a half

Hours: 39 hours per week Monday to Friday. 12.00 mid-day finish on Friday

Location: Cambourne - Gamlingay - St. Neots area - Own transport required due to location

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller with expertise in Heidenhain programming to join our clients growing precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess a strong technical background in CNC milling machining.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines.
Program CNC machines using Heidenhain controls to produce parts to precise specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Ensure the quality of finished products by performing thorough inspections and adhering to quality control standards.
Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise machining processes.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
Maintain a safe and organised work environment.Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Miller with proficiency in Heidenhain programming.
Strong understanding of CNC milling machining processes and tooling.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to safety and quality.Working Hours:

39 per week - Monday to Friday (Early finish on a Friday).
Start time: 7.30am.
Finish times: Monday 4.00pm, Tuesday 4.30pm, Wednesday & Thursday 5.00pm and Friday 12.00 mid-day.Benefits:
