A well-respected and high-achieving school in Leytonstone is looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide targeted support in KS1. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a confident HLTA or experienced TA looking to step up in a supportive and structured environment.

Role Summary:

* Delivering focused phonics interventions in Year 1 and Year 2

* Supporting pupils in small groups and 1:1 to boost early reading and writing skills

* Working closely with class teachers to plan and deliver targeted activities

* Monitoring progress and adapting support as needed

What We're Looking For:

* HLTA qualification or substantial TA experience, ideally in KS1

* Strong understanding of phonics (Read Write Inc)

* A calm, nurturing approach and excellent communication skills

* Experience supporting pupils with a range of learning needs

* Respectful of the school's religious ethos and values
