SALARY: £24000/annum

We are currently working with a brilliant hotel in the Shirley area of Solihull who are looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join their team.  The hotel has recently undergone a major refurbishment, improving the restaurant, bar and kitchen areas, including new kitchen equipment! They are a very busy day to day hotel with multiple meeting rooms, all day restaurant and banqueting for up to 200 guests.  The position of Junior Sous Chef will be working closely alongside the Head Chef to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation, ensuring high levels of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards at all times. The position will also involve the training of new starters, ordering, stock takes and running the kitchen throughout busy shifts.  The hours of work are contracted to 45 hours per week, working 5 x straight shifts, including weekend shifts. Successful candidates will receive holiday allowance, group hotel discounts, free uniform, free parking and free gym membership.  Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years kitchen experience, will be strong under pressure and will show great commitment to their work
