Job Title: Part-Time Accountant

Our client is now looking to recruit an experienced Part-Time Accountant to support their finance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented finance professional who is proficient in Sage accounting software and looking for a flexible, part-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting tasks using Sage software

*

Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations

*

Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC deadlines

*

Monitor cash flow and assist with monthly management accounts

*

Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems

*

Support the Director and external accountants with year-end processes

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role

*

Proficiency in Sage software (Sage 50 or Sage Business Cloud) is essential

*

Strong understanding of VAT, invoicing, and general accounting principles

*

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

*

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

*

Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
