Job Description:

The Vice President of Health Plan Products & Risk Adjustment - SHP is responsible for driving the growth of Security Health Plan's (SHP) product portfolio and strategy as well as provide oversight of risk adjustment programs. This individual will work collaboratively with professionals across the Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) to foster innovation and growth.

With an in-depth understanding of the market and the Health System strategy, the vice president will oversee the delivery of market/competitive insights, product development and implementation, go-to-market and positioning strategy, as well as the risk adjustment strategy. This individual collaborates with Actuarial, Underwriting, Sales and Operations to develop key performance indicators and identify approaches for leveraging resources across the system to assure high-quality products and risk adjustment programs that support smart System growth. The vice president is responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, service excellence and continuous improvement within cross-functional, matrix organization and must be able to lead directly and indirectly.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, marketing and communications or related field.

Preferred/Optional: Masters' degree in marketing, business administration, health administration or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: Ten years of experience in marketing, product and/or project development and management or related Field. Five years of experience in a management or leadership role and experience in the healthcare industry. Demonstrate a broad understanding of the healthcare and health insurance market. Demonstrated proficiency with verbal and written communication, strategic planning and business acumen.

Preferred/Optional: Experience with a provider-sponsored health insurance plan.
