Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Quality Engineer/Inspector
* Interpret engineering drawings, identify specified standards, and verify that finished components meet specification.
* Identify non-conforming components and enable corrective action before delivery to customers.
* Maintain and manage calibration of measuring tools, ensuring compliance with tolerances and intervals.
* Complete inspection reports and certificates of conformance for finished components.
* Provide guidance on quality issues, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001.
Qualifications & Experience of the Mechanical Quality Engineer/Inspector
* Qualification in mechanical engineering
* Relevant mechanical engineering experience
* Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment (digital height gauges, hardness testers, micrometers, Bowers, etc.).
* Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and Excel.
* Strong understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001.
* Experience with CMM equipment
