Jackson Hogg are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our Seaham based client and aiding them in their search to appoint a multi skilled facilities technician.
Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of FMCG products, with a global reach. Their Seaham site focuses on their UK and European markets.
The purpose of the role is to provide effective maintenance and repair services throughout the facility, helping minimize downtimes and breakdowns and maximising operating efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out an intensive program of planned preventative maintenance, for all company buildings, internal and external decorating.
* Fire alarm and fire pump checks, hydraulics and workshop repairs.
* Complete full and accurate maintenance logs, complying with health and safety regulations
* Contact and liaise with external contractors
* Maintain and carry out regular stock audits
* Carry out daily, weekly and monthly health checks and inspections
* Carry out minor mechanical and electrical repairs
Experience required:
* Relevant mechanical or engineering qualification (Desirable)
* Time served trades experience.
* Previous engineering or facility management experience
Conditions and benefits:
