Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant that lives in or around the Croydon area, who is enthusiastic about helping students with ASD live their best school lives?

We are working with a brilliant SEN secondary school who are looking for people who are passionate about inspiring and empowering students aged 11-19 with Autism and moderate learning difficulties. If you match this description, then this could be the perfect role for you!

For this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will be:

Supporting students with ASD and MLD on either a 1:1 or small group basis.
Providing support to the class teacher and rest of team.
Ensuring a safe and inspiring learning environment.
Applying different approaches to cater for various learning abilities and challenging behaviours.
Positively interacting with co-workers.
You'd be working 5 days a week, long-term, from 8.30am to 3.30pm in an ambitious school who prioritise the happiness of their students and staff!

Easily accessible for anyone within 10 miles of the school based in Croydon as there is parking on surrounding roads of the school and bus and train stops nearby.

First Aid training and other relevant SEN and ASD training, such as Emotional Literacy
