HTLA Higher level teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to join us in supporting our local primary schools.

About the Role:

You'll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and 2. You'll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support pupils both in groups and on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver planned lessons in the teacher's absence
Lead small group interventions across core subjects
Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN
Contribute to planning and assessment alongside teachers
Requirements:

HLTA qualification (level 4)
Confident leading whole class learning when required
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A positive, can-do attitude and passion for education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
