I am looking for a Senior Engineer with RC structures/Civil Engineering experience.
It's an ongoing contract with a few years work potentially. The rate is around £325-£375 per day with room for negotiation.
You will need a Civil or Structural Engineering degree background and this will be more of a management rather than a setting out role.
Daily duties will predominantly be in the office and focused towards Quality Assurance of the project.
I've been asked to find the above for a large infrastructure/civils package. The project is underway and my client is responsible for groundworks/deep drainage, retaining walls, RC structures.
Experience with a specialist contractor in RC structures/groundworks on infrastructure projects is essential for this opportunity.
There's an immediate start available for the right candidate. You must have the right to work in the UK.
Daily duties include the following:
-Checking rebar, installation HDB, Cast-ins.
-Pre and post-pour inspections.
-As-built and cover surveys.
-Completing and submitting ITR's.
-Updating pour record and traceability sheet.
-CAREs and NCR's
-Permits to hot work
-Construction records and handover documents
