Mission Resourcing are supporting a well-established, growing metal fabrication business on the hunt for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join their workshop. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in solid craftsmanship, has the mechanical know-how to get the job done, and isn't afraid to put in a hard day's work.

• Strong hourly rate: £15.00-£17.50 depending on experience

• Full-time, permanent position with long-term stability

• Ongoing, varied fabrication work - no two days the same

• Overtime available during the week and weekends (£££)

Day-to-day, you'll be fabricating and welding stainless steel and other metals to produce precision parts and assemblies. Expect to:

• Fabricate and assemble heavy-duty metal components

• Carry out strong, consistent welds (mainly MIG, with some TIG/STICK)

• Work from technical drawings and blueprints

• Measure, cut, and shape material accurately

• Check the quality of your work before it leaves the bench

• Keep the workshop safe, clean, and efficient

• Work as part of a team that gets the job done

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication (sheet metal a bonus)

• Confident with MIG/TIG/STICK and fabrication tools

• Mechanical mindset - able to problem-solve on the go

• Able to read and follow technical drawings

• Detail-driven with high standards of workmanship

• Reliable, proactive, and a team player

• Welding certs are a plus - but attitude and willingness to learn count just as much
