Key Responsibilities

*

Lead the Planning Team under the guidance of the Project Controls Manager, fostering strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.

*

Manage, monitor, and report on scheduling aspects across designated projects within the portfolio, collaborating closely with Commercial and Project Controls teams to deliver essential schedule metrics.

*

Ensure that any changes to project baselines are fully understood, assessed, and appropriately managed.

*

Continuously track project risk and change statuses to maintain an up-to-date schedule forecast.

*

Coordinate with project team members and contractors on progress and forecasting, and conduct “what-if” schedule analyses when required.

*

Monitor, assess, and interpret schedule data, highlight variances, and present actionable insights and alternatives to the Project Manager.

*

Actively challenge deviations from the baseline plan in collaboration with task leaders, contractors, or external stakeholders to support mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

*

Strong understanding of the relationship between time, cost, and commercial factors throughout the project lifecycle.

*

Comprehensive experience across the full project and programme lifecycle, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation/Commissioning, and Handover.

*

Proven ability to develop, implement, and maintain effective project planning procedures, with extensive experience in generating project schedule reports.

*

Creative and solution-oriented, with a track record of compiling data, preparing detailed reports, managing supplier schedules, and applying company standards.

*

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

*

Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.

*

Proficient in interpreting Earned Value Analysis.

*

Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly in producing professional reports and presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
