We are looking for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join a dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is eager to develop their knowledge and skills within a creative, entrepreneurial, and supportive environment. You will be part of a high-performing tax compliance and advisory team, working with a diverse range of clients from owner-managed businesses to multinational corporations across various sectors.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Operate as a key part of the client service team, liaising with clients and planning the delivery of work.
  • Deliver high-quality corporation tax compliance services and address any HMRC queries or enquiries.
  • Provide clear, concise, and technically accurate tax advice on a range of issues relevant to client business risks, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Assist colleagues in other departments to provide a comprehensive service to clients and identify tax-related risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of the firm’s capabilities and general business and economic factors relevant to our clients.
  • Build productive relationships with peers at other member firms within the international network.
  • Continually improve your skills, knowledge, and capability for the benefit of our clients and your own development.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.
  • Attend team meetings and training as required.
  • Ensure adherence to the firm’s quality standards and carry out any other duties as requested by the line manager or any Partner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACA, CA, and/or CTA qualified.
  • Background in an Accountancy Practice with a solid understanding of corporate tax.
  • Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience using specialist tax software is advantageous.
