A growing construction contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join their team based on Hayling Island.This is not a traditional, siloed role where someone only estimates or only manages the commercial elements of a project.

The business is looking for someone who wants to own the job from tender through to completion, working across multiple stages of the project lifecycle.

You will be part of a collaborative team within a growing business where people are trusted to take responsibility, contribute across the project and support delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and pricing tenders
• Reviewing drawings and project specifications
• Supporting the commercial management of projects once secured
• Producing valuations and managing variations
• Cost tracking and project financial reporting
• Supporting delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
• Managing projects through to final account

About You

• Experience working as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor or in a similar commercial construction role
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Comfortable working across both pre-construction and project delivery
• Able to take ownership and manage responsibilities independently
• Someone who enjoys being involved in the full project lifecycle rather than a single function
