Mechanical Engineer (utilities - water) | South East England | 8-10 weeks initially | Inside IR35

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team, delivering a review of water pumping stations across South East England. This work forms part of a handover process to our client, within which we will be visiting each site, creating a punch list, and producing a high-level report of safety standards and areas of improvement. Our Electrical Engineer will be working alongside a Civil Engineer and Electrical Engineer.

Due to the nature of this work, our Engineers will be working primarily on-site across various water pumping stations in the South East, with very little (if any) working from home.

The project is initially estimated to last 8-10 weeks but could be extended to 16 weeks.

Required experience:

• Strong background as a Mechanical Engineer in the water sector
• Proven experience reviewing the safety standards of water pumping stations
• Ability to produce a high-level reports of findings
