We're working with a well-established, fast-growing IT & telecoms services provider with a 30-year reputation for delivering outstanding support to hundreds of UK businesses. As they expand their service desk team, they're looking for a talented 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join the front line of their customer support operation.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong technical foundation who thrives on solving problems, providing excellent customer service, and growing their skills in a collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing:

* Be the first point of contact for technical issues from a wide range of business clients

* Log, troubleshoot, and resolve 1st line incidents—prioritising customer satisfaction and SLAs

* Deliver remote support across desktop/server environments (Windows, macOS preferred)

* Support Microsoft 365, backup services, software updates, managed Wi-Fi, and LAN/WAN troubleshooting

* Escalate tickets where necessary and keep clear documentation throughout

What we're looking for:

* Prior 1st line support/helpdesk experience (MSP background a big plus)

* Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows Server/Desktop, and basic networking

* Mac support, virtualisation, and backup tools knowledge is advantageous

* Confident, customer-focused communicator with solid problem-solving skills

* Full UK driving licence
